Whats the Difference?
The rise of jeans/trousers/shorts/skirt is where the waistband ends up. High-rise jeans, for example, go up to the belly button, low-rise jeans sit on the hips and mid-rise jeans are (you guessed it) right in the middle. Mid-rise create a certain look and offer a way to conceal that extra bit of tummy weight and gives a more structured look.
A higher rise makes your legs look longer, while a low rise elongates your upper body. The mid-rise is oh-so-comfy and i have finally found a style jean/trousers that doesnt continuously slip down my hips and that i dont have to continuously pull up.
The high waist demands a tucked-in top. Body suits are amazing for this and also, so comfortable and in fashion right now! The point is you want to show off the high-waisted jean/pants/skirt/shorts.
Let me know which one you prefer and why?
